Payton Easter

After two warm up Easter egg hunts, Finn is ready to battle Austin and Donoven. The plan was to just have certain egg for Finn, but he started taking their eggs so then it was a free for all. Finn defintely held his own and had a great time.

There's one!

Smiles for Grandpa.

NEWT blood runs deep. The Dude had to put some time in wrenching on the Jeep.

Important business to take care of.

The boys found eggs, Mia found her sock.

Happy family!

Miller Easter

Easter weekend started with an dinner and an egg hunt at Grandma Eagan's with Kandy, Amanda, and Corinne. The kids had a great time. It was a nice warm up for the rest of the easter egg hunts to come this weekend.

Monkey see, monkey do. Finn loves his cousin Corinne!

Easter egg hunt #2 was Easter morning in St. Joe. A squirrel decided to participate, as well. He grabbed an egg, carried it up the tree, and spent quite a bit of time digging into it. He was not happy with the chocolate or the quarter inside.

The cousins had a great time together. Still one more egg hunt to go...

Hello Sunshine!

The weather is warm and tootsies are exposed. We are so happy to be able to spend sometime outside and soak up some Vitamin D.

To the park!

Spring Break 2011

Our plan was to spend Spring Break on a cruise to celebrate Jenny and Jesse's wedding. However, money, child care, and mommy's complete inability to be away from my babies for 8 days forced us to stay home. We pretty much did nothing, but spend time together. Of course, we had a picnic on the quad.

Those cheeks!

Will we ever have a normal family picture?

Read Across America

A Read Across America event was held at Lincoln Square Mall so we decided to take part. There were activities, crafts, and guest readers. After completing enough activities Finn got to pick out a free book. I think he enjoyed the sucker he got more than anything else.

See Mia hanging out in the stroller?

Funky February

It seems like we spent most of February being sick. I was home from work, Mia ended up on at least 3 medications, and Finn had a nasty bug that just wouldn't go away. He went through cycles of being sick for 8-12 hours (fever, vomiting) and then would be fine for almost 24 hours. Just when we'd think he was on the mend, he'd have another "sick cycle." He was pretty miserable and so were we. Even our poor daycare provider had to take 3 days off. It seems like only Wes was able to fight off the germs. However, we were able to have a little fun in February. Grandpa and Grandma Pumpkin came to visit.

Finn loves playing music.

We met the DeHarts at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center for an afternoon of swimming. Apparently, you're not supposed to take pictures because I got reprimanded for snapping this one.

Smiling siblings.

Ready for baseball season. Only a few weeks until spring training...

More music. He kept looking at the sheet like he was reading music.

Snowpocalypse 2K10

Also known as the Snowtorious B.I.G. Champaign Unit 4 shut down for two days based on the threat of the worst winter storm in recent history. We certainly did not get the 6-20 inches of snow that was predicted, but we did get freezing rain, sleet, and a few inches of snow. Springfield and Chicago got hit worse than us. Either way, we got to spend 2 days holed up at home with our kiddos. We had a great time and played with every toy in the house. We also...

played pool...

snuggled for naps...

drummed on pots with butter knives...

fed "Mia"...

and put her down for a nap...

made cookies...

and ate them.

Our new bedtime routine is to take baths and then snuggle in mommy and daddy's bed to read books. While Wes and I put some things away, Finn got started without us.
